Hey you guys! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I know I'm late to the bandwagon, but I wanted to write today about my "it" word for 2013.
Life lately has been so stressful...whose hasn't, right?
We are in the process of buying a "new to us" house (which has become the never ending process), my MIL is having some big time health problems, my little chickie is still trying to get over the after effects of pneumonia, and I've had to return to working night shifts (ugh).
The one word that seems to make my heart sing right now is SIMPLIFY. My plan for the New Year is to simplify every aspect of my life. The one area you will begin to see it the most is in my Etsy shop. I've yet to re-open it after the holidays, but plan to very soon.
One of the main changes you will see is that I will no longer be taking custom order requests.
My Etsy shop started out as a way for me to share my creativity with all of you. However, what is seemed to do most was stifle my creativity. I spend so much time on custom orders and made to order items, that I never have time to keep fresh items coming into the shop.
Now don't get me wrong, I appreciate each and every customer. Whether they purchase a custom order or a ready to ship order. I am extremely grateful.
However, in the coming year, you will only see ready to ship items in the shop. This will prevent me from scrambling to create and ship orders, and will allow me to add fresh items often.
Stay tuned for the re-opening of the shop and a special coupon code!
