I can't believe I forgot!!!

I cannot believe that I forgot to post pictures of my kiddos from my cousin, Jamie's wedding on March 27th!

What a bad mommy I am!

Josie and Mommy!Jamie and Josie
George with my sister in law, BeckyPrince Charming and I
Josie was a bridesmaid, and George escorted my Aunt down the isle.

My Uncle Mike, Jamie's dad, was a firefighter killed in the line of duty when she was just 12 years old leaving behind Jamie and 3 younger siblings.

Jamie's baby sister, Jennifer, who is 16 acted as her maid of honor.  Her brothers, Michael 21 and Nicholas 19, walked her down the isle.

When Jamie called and asked what I thought of George escorting her mother down the isle, I was brought to tears!  Jamie's mother and I are only 9 years apart and grew up more like sisters.  I was beyond emotional!

Needless to say, the ceremony was very emotional, but extremely beautiful!

We had the most fabulous time at the wedding!  The Prince and I sat at a table with a bunch of my other cousins and their spouses, and my brother and sister in law.  We laughed and danced all night long!  Even George danced!!!

Jamie and Josie looked beautiful of couse!

Auction Update!

I'm sure you guys remember me telling you about the silent auction that my friend, Lisa, was having for her animal rescue.

You can read about it here.

Unfortunately, I had to work the night of the auction so I was unable to attend.

I finally caught up with Lisa the other day and asked how my signs did at the auction.  She told me that all three were purchased by a couple that owns a very high end, popular jewelery store in our area.

And... they have hung all three signs in the store for all to see!!!!

AHHHH!  I'm so stinkin' excited about the fact that everyone that walks into the jewelery store sees MY signs!!!

*Don't forget about my giveaway!  (click on the picture on the right and it will take you to the details of the giveway) It ends on Saturday, and you will notice that the sign I'm giving away is just like one of the signs that I did for the auction!!!*

Check out Alisa!!!

Bridal Shower

I don't know if I've ever mentioned this to you guys or not, but I have a really big family! Lots and lots of cousins and we are all very close.

This past year, it seems that they are all either getting engaged, married, or having babies!

So much fun!

Any-hoo... my cousin, John and his beautiful fiance, Maureen, are getting married Memorial Day weekend.

Maureen's bridal party gave her a shower this weekend, she had a great time!
The girls went all out! The colors for the wedding are black, white and fuschia. The entire banquet hall of our firehouse was transformed into a pink wonderland!

The made adorable labels for the wine bottles that had pictures of both of them on them. So cute!

They even purchased a fuschia high heeled shoe chair with zebra print for Maureen to sit in while she opened her gifts. Adorable! I wish I had remembered to bring my camera!
So ya'll know how much I like to add a personal touch be making part of the gifts that I give, right? Of course this occasion is no different! Hee hee!
Their invitation had a saying on it that said, "Some things were meant to be." So I incorporated this saying in their gift.

I made them the sign below. Maureen loved it, so did the rest of the party!

So, question for ya'll... John and Maureen registered for a beautiful set of china with a platinum rim.  The cost was a little pricey for a place setting.  But, I figured since Prince Charming is in the wedding party, I'd spend more than I normally would.

However, they registered for 8 place settings, and only received mine!  Would it be ok for me to ask them if they would like to purchase more place settings as a wedding gift as opposed to cash?

A question for all my BFF's (Blog Frog Friends), I am having trouble getting onto the communities.

I tried with my home computer and my work computer and keep getting a runtime error message.

Any ideas?

Where do you create???

Tell me about your creative space.

In our home, we barely have enough space for the 4 humans and 4 furry babies that live there.  Hee hee!

Because of this, I end up having my crafting materials and supplies spread out in just about every available space there is in closets, cabinets, dresser drawers, etc.

When I actually get into a project it gets spread out ALL over the kitchen.  And I mean ALL over!  The table, the counters, the floors... hee hee!!!

I have been despirately craving a space where I can do my "thang" and not have my mess spread out all over the stinkin' place!

I had mentioned last year that the Prince and I decided we would take one of the 2 storage sheds in our yard and turn it into a workshop for me.  Now, mind you, these storage sheds are not the aluminum type you would buy at Home Depot.  These are small houses!  Both have certificates of occupancy.  No lie!!

Any-hoo... my workspace... my dream come true (hee hee)... will be ready by the end of next week!!!  Woo hoo!

We've started moving my supplies out of the house and into the workshop.  We are just waiting for my cousin to finish up the electrical work in there.

I'm so excited!  Stay tuned for pics of the new home of Eventually Cottage Creations!!!

Enjoy your weeekend!!!
