Toile LOVE

As you may or may not be able to tell, I am sooo in love with this cream and black toile scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby!

Hee hee!!!!

Any-hoo... here's another project that started with 1/4" mdf. I added the scrapbook paper that I L*O*V*E with some Mod Podge, then added the letters in a 2 1/2" size using my Cricut and black cardstock. A few more coats of Mod Podge and I was ready to add some bling.

I found these paper flowers and rhinestones at Hobby Lobby (my new favorite place). I think it adds the perfect touch!

With some black ribbon for hanging, it's ready for gift giving!!!

Thank you all for the great comments on my JOY plaque in may last post! My friend, Christina, asked if I would be making some to sell. I will indeed be adding several pieces to my Etsy store this week... and good news... I now accept PAYPAL!!! Head over this week and check it out!

I'm linking up to DIY Day at Kimba's.

  1. Off to check out etsy, I love the toile and no hobby lobby near me.

  2. OK Dawn...I cannot find your etsy??? What am I doing wrong, HELP

  3. Hee hee!!! I haven't added the new stuff yet... I'll let you know when I do.

  4. Very cute! Photography tips for Etsy - take it outside and hang it on a tree so you get all the texture and colors! They will sell like hotcakes :)

  5. Thanks for the tips, Jennifer! I will definately try that!

  6. that is just tooo cute. I thought it was fabric, but I like the fact that it's paper!
