Homemaking

When you have some time, hop on over to Pretty Organized Palace. She is starting a series of 12 Homemaking tips. I have been following her blog for a while now and I think she's awesome! She has 6 children, and anything she has to say about organizing, I am willing to hear with open ears!
Homemaking may not be at the top of everyone's priority list, but I am always looking for ways to do it better and to make it easier! While I do work outside of the home full-time, I still make homemaking a priority. I consider it 'blessing my family', and myself for that matter. It makes me happy to 'feather my nest' so to speak and make our home a happy, cozy, comfortable place for my family and one that they are proud to invite our family and friends into.
Tell me your favorite homemaking tips or advice! By the way, can anyone tell my why my posts are blending all together? I am spacing between paragraphs, but they aren't showing that way after I post them! It's annoying me!
Hugs!

  6. I always have a clean living/dining area, kitchen and bath for the family to come home too. On cooler days I'll simmer cinnamon sticks or burn a vanilla candle so the air is fragrant and "comfy".

  8. Hi Dawn- Don't know where I have been, I have totally missed out on her series! I too love homemaking and everything about having a home and family. I would love to see your dream porch happen for you. What a sweet man to offer! Your blog is wonderful, right down to the brown and cream! Thanks for stopping by today. I have a guest blogger on Friday and as a matter of fact we will be discussing a checklist and mistakes to avoid while building a porch, patio, or deck! Susan is an author of a book all about home building and mistakes to avoid. You will love her input! Swing back by on Friday...
