My version of wall words

This is my version of the wall words that I have seen and loved in other peoples homes. I have looked at them online, and a lot of them are very pricey. I tried to cut the words using vinyl and my Cricut, but didn't have much luck.

Soooo, I decided to cut the letters out using black cardstock and the Cricut. Once I did that, I ran them through my Xyron to put adhesive on the back. Prince Charming carefully measured and we put them up on the wall. It was pretty easy... to cut anyway. It took some time to put the letters up, but it's done!

I figure this will probably come down like the vinyl would have. The only challenge will be cleaning these letters. I change my mind so often that these will probably be taken down before I have to clean them. Until then, I'll just enjoy them.

  5. I was just eyeing that exact saying this morning! Love that for a laundry room...after all isn't that where we spend half our time!? Desperation is the mother of so much creation, isn't it!? Great idea to use paper, your cricut, and your xyron. I love paper and my xyron and use them together almost every day!!

  11. Dawn, i totally understand about all this computer stuff, come to my blog and RIGHT click on your mouse on the award, and when the box drops down click on save as and just save it where ever your pictures are saved and you can do another post and use the sister award as the picture your going to download. Now if you want to save it off to the side of your blog like i did, go to the top of your blog and click on customize and click on add a gadget, write whatever info you want and make sure you save it and you will have it saved off to the side of your blog or where ever you would like to keep it. I still have yet learned how to add a link yet....lol some will add a link of the person that gave the award to them but i was lost on that part...
