It's going to be a NEICE!!!

A few weeks ago, I posted that my little brother and his lovely wife were expecting their first child in July. Well, it looks like the little one will be a girl!!!

Baby girl's name will be Madeline Grace. Isn't that a beautiful name, that just sings "Girl"?

I'm so excited about getting my first neice! I have a wonderful, beautiful, little 5 year old nephew that I love very much. Andrew is the son of my other brother that left that little boy, our family, and this world waaaay too early due to a terrible battle with cancer almost 2 years ago.

Madeline Grace, you are soooo loved already! Your Auntie Dawn can't wait to meet you!

Now, stay tuned because I will have some update photos of unfinished projects to post later. I actually am off today, with no hubby and no kids! Unbelievable!!!

  1. Congratulations on your neice. I love the name! I just found your place and it is fun to stop by and look through your posts.

  2. Hi Erin! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you stop by again soon!

I just took a quick look at your blog. I can't wait until I have a little more time to go back for a better look because it looks great!

  3. Dawn- Woohooo, bring on the pink!! I L*O*V*E the name they picked....that could so easily be on my name list. How does a hen named "Maddy" sound. Unfortunatly, there will be no more babies for me.....but possible chickens!! I am doing something new for Easter at my house. A Redemption tree. I need to come up with some ideas for ornaments. I would love to hear any input you have. Everyone is invited! BTW- I just can't imagine a day with no hubby and no kids! I think I would have to start with a hot bath with NOBODY knocking on the door....then on to a day of artsy/craftsy with yummy snacks and purring kitties....MMMmmmmm that would be HEAVEN!!
    Blessings- LillySue

  4. Hi Lilly Sue! I think a hen named Maddie would be great! Just don't tell my SIL that I said so. LOL! If you do get one, you know you will have to let me see a picture of her, right?

Ideas for the Redemption tree... hmmm... I'll have to think about that one. Great idea, though!

I loove me some comments! Hugs!
